Aledo, Texas is known for its excellent schools and quiet small town atmosphere. Very little has changed in Aledo since it was was platted. There are covered sidewalks, family owned stores and railroad tracks that have been there for decades. The school has grown, and a fire department was formed forty years ago.
Aledo is growing though. More and more people are seeking out the town's quiet family atmosphere and its close distance to Fort Worth and Arlington. The City is working hard to expand its utilities to accommodate all the new families.
